Promotional Artwork Commission Opportunity

We’re looking for your artwork to represent MiniComi!

Send us a link to your portfolio through our online form. We will pick one artist after the submission deadline to produce our promotional material for our 2026 event. This is a paid opportunity.

Deadline for portfolio submissions: Monday, Dec 1, 2025 (11:59pm)
*Please allow a few weeks after submission deadline for us to reach a decision!
Tentative deadline for completed work: February 2026

What we’re looking for: A single piece of artwork representing MiniComi 2026, cropped to fit multiple versions:

Bluesky profile banner (1500 x 500 pixels)
Website banner (1180 x ~435 pixels)
Physical poster (8.5″ x 11″ + bleed)
Physical postcards (6″ x 4″ + bleed)
Physical sandwich board sign (3′ x 2′ + bleed) – TBD, may not require

It should preferably include our mascots (references here, but feel free to get creative!) but if not, should still represent the idea of our art market. The artwork should be completely original work, with no copyrighted material nor AI generated work.

The graphic should contain information about the event, such as event date, time, location, (free) admission, and our website url/QR code. Text would ideally be added by the artist, but we can add it ourselves if necessary.

Our budget: $250 CAD + reserved full table at MiniComi 2025, or $250 CAD + the value of the full table in monetary compensation

We will require the (non-exclusive) rights to display, modify, transmit, and reproduce your artwork for promotional purposes only. We will not sell your artwork. All permissions are otherwise retained by the original artist. You may include your artist credit on the artwork, and we will credit you at all possible times when the artwork is used.
