After careful consideration of the circumstances surrounding the global COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the provincial directive to cancel large gatherings this summer, VSCIA has made the difficult decision to cancel MiniComi 2020.
We recognize that MiniComi is an event important for the community and for the livelihoods of many creators here in Vancouver and beyond. Our committee is currently looking for alternative ways to support the art community during this time. We thank you all for the enthusiasm up to this point, and hope that everyone can keep up the enthusiasm for our Summer 2021 event!
We will be issuing full refunds to all vendors who have paid for their table space over the next few weeks. All registrations – waitlist included – will retain their spot in line for MiniComi 2021. We will ask for confirmation, updated information, and payment early next year for those still interested in participating. Please let us know if you would like your registration to be removed from the list, if you would like to keep your membership to VSCIA, or if you have any issue with your refund.
